Amount

$6000 or $10,000 one off start-up funds depending on level of appointment.

Purpose

To support new academics in their research activities within the Business School.

Eligibility and criteria for funding

• New Teaching and Research academic appointments at Levels B, C, D and E
• Min 3 years appointment of at least 0.5 FTE
• Amount allocated as follows depending on level, or pro–rata with at least 0.5 FTE
  1. Level B and C – $6000
  2. Level D and E – $10,000

Level A appointments do not have any launching grants; they normally have access to PhD grants, currently at $3500 for their candidature.

Fund award and management

Allocation by Faculty Finance Team and managed at respective Discipline areas.
