The first author will have 15 minutes to present their paper. Because of strict time constraints, please ensure that you present a self-contained, and succinct, overview of your paper.
  • The first discussant will have 10 minutes to comment on the paper.
  • The author will have about 5 minutes to respond to the discussants’ comments.
  • The chairperson will invite questions and/or comments from the floor for a maximum of 10 minutes.
  • The above process is repeated for the second author and discussant and, where applicable, the third author and discussant.
  • Any time remaining at the end can be used for further discussion on any of the papers presented in the session. Authors should note the following:
  • Introduce yourself to the Chairperson before the session.
  • If there is any material in ADDITION to the paper to be distributed, it is the author’s responsibility to bring 30 copies to the conference.
  • Each case study room is equipped with an inbuilt computer, projector and a smart board. We recommend that you email your presentation to Mei Han prior to the conference to be uploaded to the case study room computer. As a backup, also bring the presentation on a flash drive.
  • It is advisable to practice the presentation several times before the Conference. Try tape recording and videotaping yourself to see how you sound.
  • The Chairperson will signal a GREEN card when there is 5 minutes left for the presentation, a YELLOW card for 2 minutes and RED card to stop immediately.
