UWA Business School

As a UWA Business School student, you can apply for a range of scholarships designed to help you reach your full potential and gain recognition for your success.

Scholarships are available for undergraduate students (both commencing and current), as well as honours, MBA and postgraduate coursework students.

There are a range of scholarships available to students undertaking postgraduate courses at the UWA Business School. These include scholarships for students who demonstrate strong academic achievement, students interested in the mining and resources industry or Economics, and MBA students wishing to increase to a full-time study load. Academic achievement

  2. A short statement (maximum 300 words) (and evidence supporting the statement) demonstrating:
$17,000

One scholarships is available in 2017 (Trimester 1). No scholarships are available for Trimester 2 or Trimester 3.

BHP Billiton Social Impact (Not-for-profit) Scholarship

Applicants must submit:
  1. A short statement (maximum 300 words) outlining:
  2. A 'Making a Social Impact' statement (up to 2 pages) outlining how the Graduate Certificate in Social Impact may enable the applicant, their organisation and community to create greater and effective social impact and lead to positive individual, organisational and community level change.

To be eligible to take up the scholarship a student must be enrolled full-time in any Masters by coursework or MBA degree. Applicants for the MBA Full Time will automatically be considered for this scholarship and do not need to submit a separate scholarship application.

All applicants who are accepted into the MBA Full Time Intensive are automatically considered for a range of scholarships with a total value of more than $400,000.

Executive Education Scholarships

There are various scholarships available for courses offered through AIM WA-UWA Business School Executive Education. In particular, scholarships are available for the Advanced Management Program (AMP). The AMP is designed to challenge and empower leaders to obtain a deeper understanding of their leadership capabilities and management expertise, as they increasingly contribute to the senior levels of their organisations.

BHP Billiton Indigenous Advanced Management Program Scholarships

Each year BHP Billiton offers two BHP Billiton Indigenous AMP Scholarships. The two BHP Billiton Indigenous AMP Scholarships cover course fees (A$8,840 plus GST) plus travel, accommodation and transit up to the value of $2000. Prizes and Awards

Business School students are eligible for a number of academic prizes. In addition, high achieving MBA students are acknowledged as Tracey Horton Scholars whilst the Philip Brown Scholar will be awarded to the top Honours student in Accounting and Finance. A full list of prizes can be found here.
