Excellence in Teaching Awards
Students and staff can nominate a lecturer or tutor who they believe did a fantastic job this year.
There are two categories:
- Excellence in Teaching
- Service Award for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning
The Business School is strongly focused on providing you with a rich and rewarding learning experience, and has identified three key objectives to do this:
Objective One
Enhance the Student Experience
Emphasis on improving student experience through developing a learning community inclusive of staff and students in the Business School, including student peer mentoring.
Objective Two
Improve Teaching Quality
Emphasis on improving teaching quality through a number of initiatives including peer review, mentoring, professional development programs, and building a Teaching & Learning culture where staff receive recognition and rewards for excellence in teaching.
Objective Three
Continue to build links between teaching and research
Building on our research strength to ensure students are aware and excited by Business School staff research activities.
