Online account activation

 

This page is used to activate your Business School computer lab account, used for logging on to the lab PC's, accessing secured web sites and storing files online. Please carefully follow the steps below.

Step 1: Computer Usage Policy

Before you are permitted to access the computing facilities in the Business School, you must agree to abide by the terms of our Computer Usage Policy. Please read the Policy, and be aware that you are bound to the regulations if you proceed, then click inside the box.

I have read and understood the Computer Usage Policy in the Business School and agree to abide by the regulations within the document and all other rules and regulations that govern computer use and the use of the Australian Academic Research Network and connected networks. I also accept any penalties imposed for breaching these regulations.

Step 3: Your password Now enter the password you want to use. Valid passwords must contain:
  1. at least 8 characters
  2. at least one letter
  3. at least one number
  4. no non alpha numeric characters
  5. none of your names or other personal details

You might want to use the password you use for your Pheme account for consistency.

Step 4: 24 hour lab access

Enrolled students may use their campus cards to enter the Business School (UWA campus) computer labs from 6am-11pm on weekdays and 8am-6pm on weekends and holidays. Rules apply to such access, which you can view in the lab access policy 24 hour access policy. Please check the box below to indicate that you have read and agree to abide by the rules in the policy. Due to the importance of security in the labs, any breach of the regulations may result in the immediate suspension of your Business School computing access.
