It is your responsibility to check when and where your exams are held. For final exams this can be done through logging on from your studentconnect account and checking your timetable.

Mid-semester exam and assignment submission dates and times can be found under 'Assessments' in the unit outline Unit Information Management System (UIMS), exam venues will be announced closer to the date in Learning Management System (LMS).

For those students who require a calculator during their exam, please see the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics' calculator policy which details the approved calculators. All calculators used in an examination must be approved and have an "Approved Calculator" sticker attached to it. Calculators without the University's "Approved Calculator" sticker cannot be taken into any examination or test. These stickers cannot be removed and placed onto another calculator.

You must obtain your stickers from the Business School Student Centre.

Appealing against your assessment

If you are dissatisfied with an assessment result or the progress status, you have the right to lodge an appeal within 20 working days from the notification of result.

The appeal must demonstrate that the assessment of academic performance for the unit(s) is incorrect or unfair. Students who believe they have a right to appeal should first contact the lecturer concerned. If the appeal is not satisfactorily resolved, students should make an appointment with the the Sub Dean.
