Business School staff are encouraged to use the relevant Faculty unit outline template when preparing resources for students.
The unit outline template is based on the UWA template prepared by the Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) and incorporates the recommendations contained in the University Unit Outlines Checklist.
University Guidelines on Assessment stipulate that unit coordinators provide students a Unit Outline which contains: a written statement of the unit learning outcomes, aligned with assessment tasks and explicit marking criteria for each assessment task, no later than the second week of teaching period in which they are offered.
The template also includes the Faculty regulation in respect of plagiarism.
