Staff contact directory updating


The UWA Contact Directory is maintained by the Publications Unit, however, staff are able to update their individual entries to provide information to the wider community.

This document provides the details for updating an entry.

  1. Access the directory.
  2. Search for your name.
  3. When your entry is displayedclick on your name (do not click on the email address).
  4. Click on "this link"this will bring up a login screen.
  5. Enter your staff ID as the password (including the preceding zeros).
  6. The relevant details can then be added to each field. The fields available in the table below:
  7. Once the entry is complete, select the submit changes button. The new entry will be updated overnight.

Please note: Only the fields with information will be displayed on the staff page.

Major research interests This field is automatically filled by your entry in the Research Expertise publication.

Funding received
Industrial relevance
Languages List any languages that you speak and your fluency.
Memberships List any memberships of associations and societies.
Honours and awards List any significant honours or awards you have received during your career.
Previous positions
Patents Note any patents you hold as a result of your work.
Publications This should be a brief list of some of your most recent publications - 10-12 at the most.  It can be prefaced with a short statement like "5 books and 72 peer reviewed papers including..."
Teaching Roughly detail what subjects you lecture in.
Current external positions Note here if you hold a directorship or if you are a professor or lecturer at another university.

* There is also a field available for a photograph to be uploaded. This photograph should be 270 pixels wide and 320 pixels tall, and only be a headshot.
