Business School

Personal laptops may not be physically connected to the Business School network, but you may be able to gain wireless access.

Staff, students and visitors with a Business School account may connect  to the wireless network via SNAP.

No physical connections 

We do not permit personal laptops to physically connect to our network because:

• we do not provide support for personal laptops
• they may have viruses or malware that threaten network integrity
• they may not be fully patched with the latest security fixes and be susceptible to hacking.

We understand that many laptop owners take care to keep their computers secure, but it only takes one compromised laptop to breach network security.
