Human resources

• General staff development policies including new staff induction, staff develpment grants for general staff, staff exchanges and placement with other organisations, leave for staff development purposes, student contribution amount (payment of fees for staff), and mobility policy
• Leave policies and processes including annual recreation leave, purchased leave, short leave, sick leave, TOIL, long service leave and sabbatical leave
• Appointment and consulting policies professional and consultative activities, adjunct academic titles, and visiting and honorary appointments (other than Senior Honorary Research) fellows.

Travel policies

• Conference travel policy for staff seeking funding support from the Business School to attend conferences and seminars either within Australia or internationally
• Business travel policy travel costs covered for staff travelling on official school business or participating in transnational education programs as part of the normal academic workload

Purchasing and reimbursements

• Purchasing and reimbursements policies and guidelines including purchasing of books and journals, payment of subscriptions and associate memberships, subsidy for vision testing and prescription lenses, payment of research funds on a per capita basis or for publication points, and reimbursement of minor expenses
• Computer and software purchase and replacement policy outlines the guidelines and procedures governing the purchase and replacement of approved personal computers within the Business School

Visitors

• Approval is required for all visitors to the school, it is obtained by filling out a Business School Approval for Visitor form and submitting along with the required documentation.
