We celebrated our new UWA Business School with an Open Day on Sunday 3 May 2009.
The Business School has been recognised locally and internationally for its outstanding architecture.

Architects Woods Bagot won the Architects Institute of Australia WA Award for 2009.
The design was also one of four that helped Woods Bagot gain the International Practice of the Year at the prestigious AJ100 Awards in London.
The three-storey building, opened in May, reflects the history of the University's architecture in a contemporary and innovative way, while embracing the learning environments of the future.
At the heart of the design are four cylindrical structures known as ‘knowledge vessels’. These sculptural spaces contain case study rooms. Elsewhere, flexible learning sites and lounges within the building provide environments in which to meet, work and learn.
The $50 million building is home to more than 5000 students and about 160 staff.
