The Trade, Migration and Development Research Centre brings you this international seminar on the current research findings of the importance of good governance to sustainable development.
Participants of the seminar are all leaders in their own fields in their respective countries. The main focus of the seminar is on Australia and the South and South-east Asian region.
June 29 - 30, 2009, UWA.
Registration
- Registrations close Friday 29/5/09.
- The registration fee is $250.00 AUD (students $200).
A concession rate is available for groups of three or more persons from the same organisation.
The registration fee includes admission to all sessions of the conference, copies of all contributed papers, morning and afternoon tea and lunches.
The venue
- The University of Western Australia is a centre of international excellence and is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Australasia.
- Western Australia is a great place to visit in June, with mild winter temperatures and a relaxed atmosphere.
Call for papers
We invite expressions of interest from people who wish to present papers on any of the listed topics or in similar topics. Contributions which deal with policy issues, or applications of theory to actual situations are particularly welcome.
Papers submitted must not have been published or accepted for publication elsewhere.
Abstracts
Abstracts of papers (200-300 words) should be submitted no later than 8 May, 2009.
