Excellent teaching and learning is critical to ensuring the Business School's programs provide a rich and rewarding international learning experience.

Teaching Awards

Is there a lecturer, tutor or professional staff member you think did a fantastic job this year?

Well, here is your chance to acknowledge that lecturer or tutor by nominating them for a Faculty Teaching Award. The awards give due recognition and appreciation for excellence in teaching, and acknowledge the considerable time and effort many staff put into their teaching. 

The categories are:

Service Awards include both professional and academic staff (individuals and teams) who have made a significant contribution to student learning.

Nominations are now closed for the 2017 awards.


The School's operational priorities plan identifies three key objectives:

Objective One
Enhance the student experience

Improve the student experience through developing a learning community inclusive of staff and students.

Objective Two
Improve teaching quality

Improve teaching quality through initiatives including peer review, Assurance of Learning, mentoring, professional development programs, and building a culture where staff receive recognition and awards for excellence in teaching.

Objective Three
Continue to build links between teaching and research

Build on our research strength to ensure students are aware and excited by Business School staff research activities.
