The annual PhD Conference in Economics and Business is a joint venture between The University of Western Australia (Business School) and The Australian National University (Centre for Economic Policy Research). It is held at each of these universities in alternate years. In 2007 the Conference was convened at UWA. To mark the twentieth PhD Conference, a "Hall of Fame" was established as a means of recognizing individuals who have made long-term contributions to the continuing success of the Conference series.
