How to apply
- Current UWA students apply by logging into studentConnect and adding "Business Law Minor".
- Apply in writing to the Business Law Office to receive a letter of congratulations signed by the Dean of Law and Director of the Business Law Program.
- To study any of our Business Law units on a "not for degree" basis, apply through UWA Access
The Business Law units are administered and taught by staff from the Law School. Our business law academic staff would be pleased to talk with you about the Business Law units and how this program can enhance your academic and business careers.

The information in the brochure is intended only as a general guide. Full details of the Business Law minor and units can be found in the UWA Undergraduate Handbook.
The Business Law program is available to students who are not studying a course leading to a Bachelor of Laws degree, but who nonetheless wish to obtain a working knowledge of the legal system and the way it affects business.
UWA Business School students may qualify for a Business Law minor as part of their degree program. Students in other faculties may also be permitted to study individual business law units.
The Business Law program offers a range of units designed for students who are planning a career in:

- public service
- industrial relations
- other related professions.

In todays fast-paced and highly litigious business environment, all university graduates need to have a grounding in basic legal concepts and a reasonable familiarity with those areas of the law that are directly relevant to their particular field of profession or business.
