The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) is a highly-flexible program allowing you to combine your choice of majors.

Graduates from this program have a strong record of success in finding employment within the local and international business communities.

BCom graduates are recognised throughout the world as capable and qualified people who can contribute to the success of their organisations, and are capable of progressing rapidly within those organisations.

The knowledge and skills you develop in this degree will enable you to grow within your company and the business community to become a leader, whether in Australia or internationally. There are BCom graduates working in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, London, New York and Tokyo, as well as around Australia.

Course Structure

Year One

3 Core Units

ACCT1101 Financial Accounting 
ECON1101 Microeconomics, Prices and Markets 
STAT1520 Economic and Business Statistics

Year One

5 Options

Students with a pass in Discrete Mathematics only or its equivalent are required to enrol in the unit ECON1111 Quantitative Methods for Business and Economics in first semester in place of an optional unit. 
Year Two 8 units including study specialising in your chosen majors.
Year Three 8 units including study specialising in your chosen majors.
