The MBA is designed for those with a first degree who seek to enhance their leadership and strategic management capabilities.

The intent of the MBA is to expose you to the full range of management functional areas to provide you with the relevant skills and a conceptual framework which you may later reinforce with further on-the-job management experience.

Course structure

The MBA is comprised of 12 units including:

Nine compulsory core management units designed to bring all students to a common level of knowledge in the fundamental areas of management, irrespective of their background or experience.

*All students are required to complete this unit unless they are able to demonstrate a proficiency in statistics  either through previous study or a prescribed test.   If approved, these students will be allowed to substitute this unit with an elective unit. 

Three option units from the list below:

The MBA (Advanced) consists of 16 units and is for those students wishing to undertake a further 4 units from the list of MBA Options.

Admission requirements

Domestic students

An bachelor's degree with a weighted average mark of 60 per cent or equivalent with two years minimum work experience
or
completion of the Graduate Diploma in Business of this University with an average mark of at least 65 per cent or equivalent.
