Q: Can I take classes online or through distant education?

A: Classes are only offered through face to face contact, as the Business School believes that true MBA classroom environment is the best way to teach an MBA degree. Faculty who teach in UWA Perth fly to the Philippines to teach at the Manila campus. This ensures that those studying in Manila not only earn the same degrees as those in Perth, but that they are given the same quality of education.

Q: What kind of degree will I earn upon completion of the program?

A: Upon completion of the requirements, students earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from University of Western Australia. 

Q: Can I transfer on-campus to Australia midway through the program?

A: Yes. As a student of UWA you can choose to transfer to Australia at any time. You may also opt to transfer to the Singapore campus.

Q: Can I join graduation ceremonies in Australia?

A: Yes. You are encouraged to attend the graduation ceremony in Perth, but this is not a requirement for you to graduate.

Q: Can I complete this MBA program while working full-time?

A: Yes. This is a part-time program, you are encouraged to continue working while studying. The program is designed for those who cannot or would rather not take time off from work to achieve an MBA.

Q: How long is the course?


A: The entire MBA can be completed in one and a half to three years, depending on your chosen study load.

Q: Does the faculty have international experience?

A: Yes, you will be taught by a truly international mix of academics and practitioners from Australia, United States, United Kingdom, South Africa, and the Philippines.

Q: Is the UWA program recognized by CHED?


A: Yes. It is the only foreign MBA in the Philippines duly acknowledged by CHED.

Q: Is this program for Entrepreneurs or for Corporate People?


A: The MBA is designed for anyone who wants to be more effective in Business Administration. UWA believes that an MBA should prepare students for whatever challenges their career takes them.
