The Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) offered by The University of Western Australia's (UWA) Business School is a postgraduate degree that provides nonaccounting graduates with the opportunity to acquire  knowledge and skills in accounting.

The MPA will provide training in the technical aspects of the preparation of accounting data; develop skills in the application of accounting information to solving problems and making decisions; and develop knowledge and skills in related professional disciplines such as taxation, auditing and management. UWA graduates are held in high regard by Australian and overseas employers.

Upon completion it provides for accreditation by the Certified Practising Accountants (CPA).
