Hosted by Tracey Horton, Dean of the Business School this professional breakfast seminar series is held in assocaition with The University Club. Guests speakers from business, government, sporting and non-profit backgrounds present on broad topics of interest.
These workshops provide excellent scope for networking with fellow students and alumni while gaining extra skills and knowledge. All sessions are held in the Wesfarmers Lecture Theatre, Ground Floor, Business School.
A new Business School initiative, this event series is conducted in a conversation style with an invited guest representing the top of their profession. This format provides audiences with an up close and personal experience with each invited guest.
Public lectures are promoted in conjunction with the Alcoa Visiting Professor program. The aim of the program is to invite two to three Professors to visit the Business School annually. Each Professor shares their knowledge and expertise with academics, the business community and the general public.
In times of global turmoil it is more important than ever that business schools remain relevant at an international level, pursue deeper understanding of business fundamentals and encourage creative thinking regarding the critical business issues faced around the world. As part of our pursuit in Achieving International Excellence, the UWA Business School actively supports international forums for dialogue and debate between academics, students, alumni, and business professionals and leaders.

At an official signing ceremony, Mitsubishi Development's Managing Director and CEO Mr Kirk Yamanaka said the company is planning to broaden Mitsubishi Development's scope of activity in WA and is grateful for the support from local business partners and the broader community.
