Business School

Since being founded in 1976, the GMA has evolved several times and the opportunity for change presented itself again as a result of the amalgamation early in 2007 of the Graduate School of Management (GSM), into the wider UWA Business School.  This amalgamation brought together MBA post graduate students and Alumni with those of a Masters or Doctoral degree from the UWA Business School.

In 2008 the GMA Constitution was altered to allow the incorporation of all postgraduate disciplines of the Business School.

This was an important move for the Association and we were pleased that it was unanimously passed by all members present at the meeting. This decision came after extensive discussions with current members, council and representatives of the Business School who fully supported the GMA in this decision.

Eligibility

GMA membership is available under the following categories:

• Postgraduate Lifetime membership ($200) for masters or doctoral degree graduates of UWA Business School
• Associate membership ($200/year) for like-minded professionals and masters or doctoral Graduates from other universities
• Student membership (FREE) for postgraduate students of UWA Business School
